The We Speak Dance method, a global Dance method created by Netflix star Vandana Hart.
The method takes you on a journey across 100 languages of dance from South African Mandela dance for liberation, Brazilian carnival samba, New York street styles to Balinese warrior dances. Vandana’s method comes from her training from Alvin Ailey, 7 years designing programs at the UN for women’s rights, and immersing into 100 countries of dance and music cultures.
Vandana Hart is the creator and host of We Speak Dance, on Netflix worldwide, a documentary series using dance as an international language to connect people across cultures. She was a judge on Kenya’s "So you Think You Can Dance" and is a UN Global Ambassador for women’s rights. She has traveled to over 80 countries leading dance workshops, choreographing music videos and consulting for the UN on women's safety and youth empowerment. Vandana has presented at forums and events such as SXSW, TEDx and the UN General Assembly, Facebook and trained at the world-renowned Alvin Ailey School of dance, studied Global Affairs at NYU and holds a Masters from London School of Economics.
